At Jacas Family Dental, we excel in treating our patients with the best restorative dental care in a warm and welcoming environment. But what does that mean?
Comprehensive dental care is all about taking care of the teeth and gums and the rest of the mouth. There's a lot to cover in this broader umbrella of care, but essentially, we can boil it down into a few categories that show how we bring a detailed and dedicated approach to helping our patients to manage their dental health.
Evaluation
Almost all of us are going to have some dental health issues at some point in our lives. That's a given. But a lot of the decay or deterioration of our dental health can be treated effectively by modern professional dentistry.
That's what's restorative about our dentistry approach. We help you to evaluate what issues you have, so that we can treat them appropriately. That’s an important part of what dentists do, so if your dentist doesn’t do that well --- it may be time to switch.
Quality Treatment
Quality treatment has to do with providing a specific care philosophy in response to the common issues that patients come into our office with.
Many of the most common treatments involve dealing with cavities, root canals for pained nerves, and crowns or extractions. As teeth age, they experience various states of decay that require these interventions.
When dentists do these treatments the right way, on the right timeline and with the right care and consideration to the patient's individual case, the patient gets targeted treatment that will effectively do damage control on whatever dental issues they have. When they get this treatment in an imprecise and sloppy way, on the wrong timeline, without detailed care, they can have various issues like fillings that keep breaking or deteriorating, imperfectly installed crowns or unnecessary extractions.
Financing
We also know that you don't talk about dentistry without talking about the patient's ability to pay for it.
Time and time again, we see that some of the worst dental problems have to do with the patient's income, insurance and ability to pay. If you can't pay for care, you're going to delay it – and when you delay it, things get worse. That's an easy equation to understand. However, many practices simply ignore this element of dentistry, because they don't want to have to deal with financing or helping patients financially.
We feel like it's in everybody's best interests for us to work with patients to provide financing and help them manage dental costs, because it leads to better restorative and preventative care.
Come in to Jacas Family Dental to get the care you need – we’ll be happy to see you!
